FFE X Beam Rods - VAG 5 cyl

This listing is for our 144 x 22mm X Beam connecting rods for VAG 5 cylinder engines.

Unlike other manufacturers Vag engines share many features of geometry between the entire watercooled engine line up.

This listing has two different selections and two different options.

These rods are 144mm long center to center, for a 22mm wrist pin piston.

1. Rod width, Belt engines (25mm) or Chain engines (22mm)

2. Bolt material, 2000 bolts 180whp per hole MAX or 625+ bolts for higher capacity.

Examples:

AAN 5 cylinder generation engines are belt

Late 2000s iron 5 cylinder (found in rabbit, jetta, early and late ttrs and rs3) to current are chain.
